Three ensembles comprise Mountainside High School’s concert ensemble curriculum that meet during the regular school day. The Mountainside Concert Band, composed of freshman musicians new to the high school experience, constitutes the first step in the student’s band tenure. The Mountainside Symphonic Band, composed of students with more band experience, is the next step in our student’s growth. The Mountainside Wind Ensemble features Mountainside High School’s most advanced instrumental musicians. Wind Ensemble positions are auditioned in the spring and periodically throughout the year.
